🥘 Easy Seafood Paella Recipe (6 servings)

Ingredients from the combo:

  • 500 g La Fallera rice
  • 1.5 L Gallina Blanca seafood broth
  • 220 g Hida fried tomato sauce
  • 50 ml García de la Cruz Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 sachets Safrante seasoning
  • A small pinch of saffron
  • 1½ tsp La Barraca sweet paprika
  • ¼ tsp crushed ñora pepper
  • Carretilla piquillo peppers (for garnish)

Fresh ingredients to add:

  • 500 g mussels
  • 200 g squid, sliced
  • 250 g shrimp
  • 200 g clams
  • 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in the paella pan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the squid for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Add the Hida tomato sauce, sweet paprika, and crushed ñora pepper. Stir gently for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add the rice and mix briefly so it absorbs the flavors.
  5. Pour in the seafood broth. Add Safrante seasoning, saffron, salt, and pepper. Spread everything evenly across the pan.
  6. Simmer for about 10 minutes without stirring.
  7. Add the shrimp, mussels, clams, and bell pepper evenly across the paella.
  8. Continue cooking for another 8–10 minutes until the rice is tender and most of the broth has evaporated.
  9. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes covered with a clean cloth.
  10. Garnish with piquillo peppers and lemon wedges before serving.
