🥘 Easy Seafood Paella Recipe (6 servings)
Ingredients from the combo:
- 500 g La Fallera rice
- 1.5 L Gallina Blanca seafood broth
- 220 g Hida fried tomato sauce
- 50 ml García de la Cruz Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 sachets Safrante seasoning
- A small pinch of saffron
- 1½ tsp La Barraca sweet paprika
- ¼ tsp crushed ñora pepper
- Carretilla piquillo peppers (for garnish)
Fresh ingredients to add:
- 500 g mussels
- 200 g squid, sliced
- 250 g shrimp
- 200 g clams
- 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in the paella pan over medium heat.
- Sauté the squid for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
- Add the Hida tomato sauce, sweet paprika, and crushed ñora pepper. Stir gently for 1–2 minutes.
- Add the rice and mix briefly so it absorbs the flavors.
- Pour in the seafood broth. Add Safrante seasoning, saffron, salt, and pepper. Spread everything evenly across the pan.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes without stirring.
- Add the shrimp, mussels, clams, and bell pepper evenly across the paella.
- Continue cooking for another 8–10 minutes until the rice is tender and most of the broth has evaporated.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes covered with a clean cloth.
- Garnish with piquillo peppers and lemon wedges before serving.
